Independence Day is celebrated every Fourth of July. We associated July 4th, 1776, as the day that represents the Declaration of Independence, and the birth of the United States as an independent nation.

The Constitution has their definition of this patriotic day, but Fourth of July in my perspective, represents more.

Fourth of July is celebrated through fireworks, big barbeques, and anything that represents an American tradition. This day also embodies the value of family, as an American, and as a person.

One word: tradition.

This American holiday is all about tradition, and the value of being with your family, and celebrating it together. It also brings out all those crazy patriotic people that you hope to never see again.

The United States likes to celebrate holidays with sports, and being that baseball is America’sfavorite past time, Major League Baseball is a key American symbol for Fourth of July. A day at Dodger Stadium, Petco Park, any great MLB arena on Fourth July is a game to remember.

Sports are synonymous this holiday; every where you go, you will see people cycling, riding bikes, running all along town.  Where its inspiration, or just simply tradition, there are several of these marathon rallies and organizations every Fourth of July.

There is over a dozen MLB games today, so go ahead and enjoy with your loved ones.  Which is the game of the day?

San Diego Padres at Los Angeles Dodgers

If this isn’t the best game, then it’s definitely one of the most patriotic.

The Dodgers can win their 60thgame of the season tonight at Dodger Stadium, for this win could be something meant to be. The Dodgers are playing a Padres team, that are coming off being swept in a series with the San Francisco Giants at their own ball park.

Dodgers are going to have to take advantage of San Diego’s late game woes, and let the fireworks begin at 10 p.m.

Boston Red Sox at Toronto Blue Jays

Red Sox’ ace pitcher Chris Sail, has been struggling, and has been affecting the team, for they are failing to close out games. Xander Bogaerts in particular, had a rough night in their loss to the Blue Jays 3-6.

Chris Sail needs to get out of his slump quickly, for the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays could pull away in the AL East.

Which MLB team will make a Fourth of July statement?
