This was a physical game from the start, as the Knights-Sharks had brawled several times. Big hits, legal and not so legal checks, followed by the playoff hunger – this was fun to watch.
The story of this game, however, was not the physicality. It was about Mark Stone.
Stone was on fire with 3 goals, 5 points, and his presence overall, just simply dominated the game. Right now, if he plays like this, Vegas will have a good chance in these playoffs.
The Golden Knights will have to continue with these hot starts, for their quick goal onslaughts give them confidence in their play. When this team is confident, they can go far.
