It’s the beginning of the week and a lot of people think there’s nothing to look for, hence the ‘Monday Blues’, but today for craft beer fans – this week means celebration. U.S. National American Craft Beer week is organized between May 16th and May 22nd.
A craft beer fanatic like myself, celebrate American Craft Beer Week like it’s Christmas, or Hanukkah for that matter. Our craft beer culture is expanding exponentially year after year, and that alone is something to celebrate.
Modern Times Brewing, San Diego, has been one of the premier breweries in not only California, but throughout the country. Modern Times’ incredible variety and attention to detail in their brew has made an imprint on the craft beer industry years ago, and still their reputation precedes them.
Today to kick off American Craft Beer Week, I purchased Modern Times’, Electrojet. Just as intense as the cover, Electrojet is an enormous expression of tropical flavors in a hazy IPA.
Modern Times recalls the tasting notes to reminisce “thunderous notes of juicy peach flesh, bright citrus, ripe mango, and stone fruit.” Electrojet is a breathtaking ‘bouquet’ that invites you in with it’s wonderful tropical nose.
If you love hazy IPA’s like I do, then you need to grab the Electrojet if you see it at your local liquor store.
