The latest intriguing Tavour purchase I made was the “Lighthouse Tiramisu” Brown Ale by Cypress Brewing Company. It is a solid American Nut Brown Ale with espresso, cocoa, and vanilla.

The Lighthouse Tiramisu has hints of that creamy, vanilla taste not until after sipping. It is heavy on espresso that’s for sure, but has an overall sweetness.

This beer really does pair with Tiramisu itself. My girlfriend and I, had a slice of Tiramisu and washed it down with the Lighthouse to get the full tasting effect.

It’s winter season, so stock up on those heavier beers that are worth hibernating for.
