Joey Chestnut has over a dozen wins at Coney Island, staying at the top of the mountain for competitive eating.

Chestnut devoured 71 hot dogs and buns, to win the men’s division of the Nathan’s Famous hot dog eating contest Thursday. He again won the Mustard Belt, beating 17 opponents, including 2015 winner Matt Stonie.

Independence Day is celebrated every Fourth of July. We associated July 4th, 1776, as the day that represents the Declaration of Independence, and the birth of the United States as an independent nation.

The Constitution has their definition of this patriotic day, but Fourth of July in my perspective, represents more.

Slug Fest in the UK!!!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are treated to a royal classic as the Yankees top the Red Sox 17-13

It was the first of a two game series in London and it didn’t take long to set the tone. The Yankees opened up the first inning with SIX runs to one out. New York retired starter Rick Porcello after only 30 pitches! (11B 13S.) The first MLB score ever in Europe belonged to DJ LeMahieu, and began with a double by Luke Voit.

There was no stopping a powerful Yankee offense, taking what they do in America and transmuting it right to London. With Gary Sanchez already on base (2nd batter of game walked) Didi Gregorious’ bat caught some fire on a line drive double (2) bringing in both Voit and Sanchez; putting the Yankees ahead 3-0 with 1 out. He didn’t wait on base long as Edwin Encarnacion (recently acquired in a trade from the Mariners) doubled (9) for an RBI; his 55th of the year.

Training Camp starts in less than a month, you can hear the screams and tears of joy from the NFL faithful as the new season is fast approaching. I would like to take this time now to point out each of my “X” factors for the following 32 teams. This “X” factor can stem from the front office, a coach, a star player, or group of players for that matter. Its this focal point that I believe can either give your franchise the playoff push it needs, their first breakout season in a while, or maybe just give you the hopes that: “THANK GOD WE AREN’T REBUILDING ANYMORE”

The “X” factor is not necessarily each teams best player, but more so the player that each team needs to breakout and contribute in order for their team to have the best success. So with out further adieu lets begin with the NFC:

Rapinoe saves the day for USA, yet again

Megan Rapinoe really is the lord of women’s soccer right now, with five goals this World Cup.

Alex Morgan set up a great opportunity for Megan Rapinoe to finish, and the veteran stepped up with yet, another fantastic set piece against France on Friday. Megan Rapinoe continues to step up big for the USWNT, leading the team to victory, once again, 2-0.

Rapinoe is helping carry momentum further and further for team USA into the World Cup. USA is banking on their set pieces, as they nearly had a second goal just off deflections, they are keeping the attack aggressive early in the second half.
