OBJ made his debut for the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football, and it wasn’t exactly a night to remember. Rams’ offense were sleepwalking against the San Francisco 49ers, turning the ball over and giving up big plays on defense in a sloppy landslide loss, 10-31.
QB Matthew Stafford tried to make a splash on prime time with targeting Beckham Jr. early and often, but resulted in an interception that ended up costing them.
The two interceptions by Stafford weren’t exactly attributed to him. The first throw to OBJ was off, but looked like miscommunication and the second throw to TE Tyler Higbee was a flat-out drop, that resulted in a turnover.
It is not time to hit the panic button just yet for the Rams, and also for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Tom Brady didn’t look so hot against the Washington Football team on Sunday. The Goat, that is Brady, started off the game with two interceptions and ended up resulting into points for the opposing team.
Washington’s defense showed up without star Chase Young, and just dominated the Buccs at home. Tampa Bay’s defense struggled again and couldn’t stop the bleeding.
Tampa Bay is battling injuries on both sides of the ball, and the team still plays hard, they are still talented enough to get the win on any given Sunday. This was a good ‘wake-up game’ for Brady and company, for they will make it rain in Week 11.
In my perspective, Rams and Buccaneers are still top 5 teams in the NFL.
It is week to week headlines in the NFL, and people love to overreact with upset losses like Bills or Cowboys in Week 9, and then comeback with dominating wins. Today, people are now saying Cowboys and Bills are Super Bowl teams…what will be the overreaction in Week 11?
