LAFC continues their hot streak with winning 10 of 11 games in which they score first, and it was Diego Rossi to make the memorable mark on a 2-0 win against the New England Revolution. It was a great win for LAFC, for they beat a good Revolution team on the road, handing Bruce Arena’s first loss as a head coach.
Los Angeles Forward Diego Rossi put on a show Friday night in New England, setting the tone with looping an incredible top-spin volley from the left wing into netting on the far side.
Rossi, 21, is one of LAFC’s top players, along with forward Carlos Vela. These two players make what is such a potent attack for LA, for they are on top of the MLS with 16 wins.
There are rumors that the Italian professional club, Fiorentina, is showing interest in LAFC’s Diego Rossi. This may not be a surprise to LAFC fans, because there has been transfer rumors in the past – which sometimes end up being news, like star defender Laurent Ciman to Dijon FCO of Ligue 1, and midfielder Andre Horta to S.C. Braga.
It is very possible that Rossi could be dealt with the transfer window closing in, and while he is playing his best soccer right now with 12 goals, already matching his total for last season. He is right now considered one of the best European prospects n the MLS right now.
If Rossi remains in LA, there is no telling the potential of this team.
The way that Diego Rossi is to come along with a red-hot Vela on the other attacking side, creative havoc for whatever defense is up next. LAFC has gotten off to a flying start in 2019; they lead the Supporter’s Shield race with 52 points through 23 matches, and a comfortable league-best 38 goal differential.
The asking price for Rossi will not be cheap, if the Serie A Club is seriously interested, it will be something of an investment rather than just another notable transfer.
Could Fiorentina really buy out Rossi?
